Background: With the STEP grant funding, GOED’s International Division plans to sub-fund grants to companies to enable participation in state-led trade mission to China’s Jiangsu Province in March 2016, and a state-led trade mission to Poland in May 2016. Through the Nevada International Trade and Investment Council (NTIC), a competitive process would be established to provide grants to companies interested in participating in the trade missions. The companies would be provided with grant funding, which they would need to match, to help offset their trade mission travel costs as well as to attend Export-Tech and seminars in preparation for the missions.
Funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
