Manfredi marks his ninth year at KNPB with promotion
RENO, Nev. – Anthony Manfredi is named Senior Vice-President of Content and Marketing for Reno’s PBS Member Station, KNPB Channel 5. Manfredi’s experience in marketing strategies, programming and design make him an ideal candidate for the position.
As the new Senior Vice President of Content and Marketing, Manfredi oversees all national, regional and local programming content, production services and channel scheduling seen by over 158,000 people each week on KNPB channels and online.

Manfredi graduated from the University of San Diego with a dual degree in Communication Studies and Art. He also has 24 years of experience in strategic planning, management, marketing, creative and fundraising services.
Prior to employment at KNPB Channel 5, Manfredi worked as Senior Marketing Manager and Creative Director for Skagen designs where he developed the strategic marketing vision for the company, managed all public relations, managed all national and international trade show operations, and implemented departmental processes and procedures. He has also excelled in internet-based operations and innovative marketing for Fortune 500 companies, including Hilton, IBM and United Airlines. He also held the position of Creative Director for iGo and Art Director for MountainGate Data Systems, where he aided in the monumental growth and brand recognition for both of these companies.
After honing his skills at previous companies, Manfredi began working at KNPB in 2006 where he excelled in every job position he occupied. As the Vice President of Development and Marketing, Manfredi helped raise over $20 million in revenue for KNPB. He successfully reduced department expenses and analyzed the effectiveness of fundraising activities. From June 2013- April 2015, he held the position of Vice-President of Strategic Marketing and Programming for KNPB Channel 5, where he provided marketing strategy, direction and integration for all of KNPB’s objectives.
