Las Vegas – As part of their commitment to changing lives, Matt Smith Physical Therapy and Desert Valley Therapy, both ATI Physical Therapy companies, are hosting a school supply drive from June 15-26 to benefit Ronnow Elementary School. The public is invited to participate by dropping off supplies at any of the Matt Smith Physical Therapy or Desert Valley Therapy locations. Suggested supplies are backpacks, paper, pencils, crayons, washable markers, scissors, erasers, glue sticks, tissue, colored pencils, pocket folders, rulers or binders.
Ronnow Elementary School is a Title 1 campus, which means at least 40 percent of its students come from low-income families. In all, 78 percent of the school’s 843 students are on the Clark County School District’s free or reduced price lunch program. Ronnow elementary has a student-teacher ratio of 18:1, 12.1 percent higher than the national average for public schools.
