LAS VEGAS — Kassi Belz, president of MassMedia, a full-service public relations, advertising and marketing firm with offices in Las Vegas and Irvine, California, announced the agency has hired Evan Korn as a media relations specialist.
In his new role, Korn is responsible for developing media relations opportunities for MassMedia’s clients. This includes securing and monitoring press coverage, in addition to maintaining key contacts in print and broadcast media.
Prior to joining MassMedia, Korn worked as a sports reporter for The Citizens’ Voice, a daily newspaper in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. A native of Syosset, New York, he spent two years working for Newsday after graduating from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. His byline has also appeared in The Baltimore Sun, Ring Magazine, Portland Press Herald and Albany Times Union, among other publications.
