Desert Radiologists, one of the nation’s largest and most successful private radiology practices, was recognized by Quantum Workplace for a 2015 Employee Voice Award (EVA). Desert Radiologists was selected for Raising Engagement in the small to mid-size business category. Desert Radiologists is the only Nevada recipient for the national accolade this year.
Quantum Workplace, an employee engagement survey company known for its Best Places to Work contest, honors 10 organizations each year for excellence in employee engagement.
“The Employee Voice Award recognizes our most successful clients for their outstanding work in employee engagement, and Desert Radiologists had the largest score improvement among TeamPulse clients in its size category last year,” said Kary See, engagement manager for Quantum Workplace. “Companies are measured by the ability and willingness of employees to exert extra effort for the benefit of the organization, their tendency to speak highly of the organization, and their intent to remain at the organization.”
The EVA highlights small, medium, and large-sized organizations in two categories: Raising Engagement and Highest Level of Engagement. Clients must use Quantum Workplace’s 37 standard survey items and have 50 or more employees to be eligible. Represented industries encompass finance and insurance, technology, retail, healthcare, venture capital and private equity, and manufacturing.
“We’re delighted to be a recipient of the 2015 Employee Voice Award for Raised Engagement. Our leadership team is very appreciative of the entire staff for their commitment, participation and work ethic to our company, and, more importantly, our patients,” said William Moore, chief executive officer of Desert Radiologists. “We have a great team that strongly believes in our mission to exceed the expectations of all we serve. By serving others it leads to a higher level of engagement and satisfaction.”
He added that to raise employee engagement, Desert Radiologists created employee task forces following each annual employee engagement survey. “The task forces develop and lead initiatives to increase and improve employee communications and provide opportunities for feedback and participation.”
Based in Omaha, Neb., Quantum Workplace serves more than 5,000 organizations annually through employee engagement surveys, action-planning tools, leadership assessment, and employer of choice recognition.
