LAS VEGAS – Mike Mixer, executive managing director of Colliers International – Las Vegas, announced the company has hired Chris Zunis as associate.
Zunis has partnered with Eric Molfetta in the Industrial Division and brings more than 12 years of real estate experience to the firm.
Before joining Colliers International – Las Vegas, Zunis spent nine years at the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance as the organization’s senior vice president of economic development, where he successfully attracted 120 new companies to Southern Nevada that absorbed more than 2 million square feet of available industrial and office space. He also assisted in the expansion of more than 40 existing companies in Southern Nevada, which helped create thousands of high-paying jobs. He started his real estate career as a senior mortgage officer at Hamilton Mortgage Company.
“Chris has a wealth of knowledge and experience that will benefit our Colliers professionals and our clients,” Mixer said. “He has a great understanding of how to navigate through our state’s various economic incentive programs, and we are happy to welcome him to our team.”
Zunis has lived in Las Vegas for 16 years and enjoys cycling, mountain biking, and building metal and wood furniture in his spare time.
