LAS VEGAS – Sleek style, elegance, comfort and race-worthy performance come together in the 2015 Infiniti Q60 Coupe, which is now showcased at the newly expanded Park Place Infiniti showroom, 5555 W. Sahara Ave.
“Unlike the others with 4-cylinder engines, this coupe revs on a 330-horsepower V6 engine, plus it handles like a fine-tuned race car,” Park Place Infiniti General Manager Joe Tortomasi said. “Its standard amenities — which in other brands are considered extra-cost options – include leather seating and heated front seats.”
The 2015 Infiniti Q60 Coupe, and the new Q60 Coupe Limited provide sport-tuned performance suspension, quick-ratio steering, Sport brakes with 4-piston front calipers, and 19-inch seven-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels with summer performance tires.
Infiniti offers the new Limited trims exclusively in Graphite Shadow, Majestic White and Venetian Ruby exterior colors. Inside, the grand touring cabin of the Q60S Limited features red-stitched Graphite leather-appointed front sport seats, which come with manual thigh extensions and, for the driver, power torso and thigh support adjustments. A red-stitched steering wheel and aluminum pedal inserts and footrest complete the look.
The full line includes the Q60 Coupe Journey, Q60 Coupe AWD, Q60S Coupe 6MT, Q60S Coupe Limited 6MT and Q60S Coupe Limited.
Every Q60 comes with a seven-speed automatic transmission or, in “6MT” versions, a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission. The automatic is intuitive for performance drivers, offering Drive Sport (DS) Mode and Downshift Rev Matching. Add the available Sport Package, and you can shift gears with solid magnesium paddle shifters.
The Q60 Coupe takes seriously its sporty reputation, going zero to 60 mph in just a tick over 5 seconds.
The driver experience is further enhanced with the Q60 Coupe’s 11-speaker Infiniti Studio on Wheels by Bose audio system. This system comes standard in “S” trims and is available for the others. Working with Bose, Infiniti engineers created the first factory-installed audio system that projects the music’s power from the front. Because the Q60 Coupe is such a driver-focused car, this audio system creates a Driver’s Audio Stage, reinforced by 10-inch subwoofers mounted in the doors.
The powerful V6 defines the strength and speed of the Q60 Coupe. But the famous Infiniti Front-Midship (FM) chassis puts the V6 behind the front wheel centerline, as opposed to over it, for well-honed weight balance. A double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension tame the curves while absorbing the bumps and giving a controlled, supple ride.
Only the Infiniti vehicles come with the Infiniti Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All Electronic Torque Split (ATTESA E-TS) intelligent all-wheel drive system. When all-wheel drive isn’t needed, this system sends 100 percent of the torque to the rear wheels, preserving the car’s rear-drive feel and agility. The instant the system’s sensors detect wheel slippage at the rear, it automatically transfers up to 50 percent of available torque to the front wheels to enhance traction.
