WHO:
McDonald’s Southern Nevada locations
WHAT:
McDonald’s is teaming up with Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing assistance and resources to homeless teenagers in Southern Nevada, for its ‘Buy-One-Give-One Big Mac’ promotion.
During the one-day fundraiser, McDonald’s will donate a voucher for one complimentary Big Mac burger to NPHY for each Big Mac burger purchased at participating Southern Nevada McDonald’s locations.
WHY:
Throughout the year, McDonald’s Southern Nevada franchisees support various programs focusing on education, literacy and the well-being of children. With more than 7,000 estimated homeless youths in Clark County, McDonald’s recognized the need to support NPHY in its mission to provide increased access to warm meals.
NPHY is the most comprehensive service provider for homeless youth in Nevada, offering a full range of services to meet homeless youths’ immediate needs and provide them with the tools, resources and support they need for long-term self-sufficiency and success.
