Reno, Nev – KNPB Public Broadcasting proudly announces three changes to the board of trustees. Rod Sanford has been elected as the Board Chair, John Owens has been elected as Vice Chair and Zanny Marsh has joined the board.
Sanford has served as a KNPB Board Trustee since 2012 and is the managing director with U.S. Bank’s private client group, leading a team of professionals who employ a comprehensive, fully integrated approach to wealth management designed to help clients achieve financial goals. The California native is also a foundation board member of Truckee Meadows Community College, serves on the board of the Nevada Area Council Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada.
Vice Chair Owens has served as a KNPB Board Trustee since 2012 and brings a wealth of knowledge from various key positions at NV Energy over the course of his 30-year career. He currently serves on the board for CARE Chest, a non-profit organization providing medical resources to those in need.
Elected new member March joins the board with a background as a grants specialist for Renown Health. Ms. Marsh brings more than a decade of professional and volunteer experience with program design, management, multi-source budgets, strategic communications and public affairs. She also currently serves as the Chair of Seniors in Service alongside her duties as Chair of the KNPB Community Advisory Board.
