LAS VEGAS – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, has significantly deepened its presence in Nevada with the addition of three attorneys to the firm’s Las Vegas office.
The new attorneys include Berna Rhodes-Ford, who is of counsel, Kathryn Branson and Dana Krulewitz, who joined the office as associates. Ogletree Deakins continues to attract and retain a depth of talent in its Las Vegas office in response to client demand. The Las Vegas office’s depth is reflected by attorneys who have been recognized by a number of prestigious organizations, including Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and Nevada Business Magazine.

Rhodes-Ford, who has nearly two decades of legal experience, joins Ogletree Deakins from Rhodes-Ford & Associates, where she was the founding and managing shareholder. Rhodes-Ford’s employment law practice includes litigating cases involving Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) in union and non-union environments. She also advises clients on employment agreements, employee manuals, compliance programs, and litigation avoidance. Rhodes-Ford has been lauded for her accomplishments, including numerous awards from Nevada Business Magazine. She has also been named as a Super Lawyer and among InBusiness Las Vegas’ Women to Watch. Rhodes-Ford is very involved in the community, serving on the board of directors for the Community Counseling Center of Las Vegas and Victory Neighborhood Services Center, Las Vegas. She is a former board member for Make-A-Wish of Southern Nevada and serves as the legislative chair of the Las Vegas chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Rhodes-Ford earned her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
In her practice, Branson represents employers in federal and state court actions involving claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, violations of wage and hour laws, breach of contract and restrictive covenant agreements, and misappropriation of trade secrets. She also defends employers against charges of discrimination filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Nevada Equal Rights Commission and provides preventative advice and consultation. Branson has been recognized as a Mountain States Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine, is an associate with the Howard D. McKibben Inns of Court, and is a member of the State Bar of Nevada Fee Dispute Committee. Branson earned her J.D. from the University of Nevada’s William S. Boyd School of Law.
Krulewitz focuses her practice on counseling and litigation related to a full range of employment law matters, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Krulewitz is very active in the Las Vegas community, serving on the board of the Junior League of Las Vegas and as a member of the State Bar of Nevada and Clark County Bar Association. She is also a pro bono attorney for the Legal Aide of Southern Nevada’s Children’s Attorney Project, which strives to give abused and neglected children a voice in court. Krulewitz earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law.
