Gordon Silver is pleased to announce that the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada recently awarded the firm the Lied Award for Most Cases Accepted by a Law Firm. This and other awards were given at this year’s Pro Bono Luncheon on Friday, December 5.
“It is an honor for the firm to be recognized for our pro bono efforts,” said Thomas H. Fell, head of the firm’s pro bono efforts. “We feel giving back to the community is incredibly important and it truly is a team effort at the firm.”
Attorneys Eunice Beattie and Colleen McCarthy were also honored at the luncheon, as part of the 100 Hours Club for performing at least 100 hours of pro bono work in 2014.
Attorneys Thomas Fell, John Krieger, Jeffrey Silver, Kory Kaplan, Kristin Tyler and Mark Weisenmiller performed 50 plus hours of pro bono work and were also honored at the luncheon.
