Las Vegas – ‘Tis the season for giving and Matt Smith Physical Therapy is leading the charge.
Matt Smith Physical Therapy is hosting a toy drive from Nov. 24-Dec. 12 to benefit Light of the World Childhood Cancer Foundation, an organization completely reliant on community partners to help ease the burden of families in need. Light of the World aims to provide programs to those affected by childhood cancer that give spiritual, emotional and financial support, and assist families with finding resources to address practical concerns.
Matt Smith Physical Therapy is inviting former and current patients, employees and the general public to participate in the toy drive by donating new, unwrapped toys and gift cards. Donations can be dropped off at any of Matt Smith’s 14 locations.
This drive is part of Matt Smith Physical Therapy’s Changing Lives Campaign, an ongoing effort to aid the Southern Nevada community. In 2014 alone, Matt Smith Physical Therapy has hosted a school supply drive for Don E. Hayden Elementary School, collected 2,371 pounds of food for Three Square Food Bank, and launched the Change Reaction campaign with the Clark County School District. Change Reaction is a “pay it forward” effort in which several CCSD elementary schools will be giving gifts throughout the year to other schools involved.
