Organizers are planning an additional marketing effort for ticket sales to benefit Baby’s Bounty and raffle prizes are still being accepted.
For $50, attendees receive a signature cocktail and appetizers.
Starry, Starry Night is a signature event for Baby’s Bounty, said Hillary Steinberg, board chair for Baby’s Bounty.
“The entertainment at this event is sure to please, with members of the local tribute bands ‘Fleetwood Nicks’ and ‘Heart Alive’ joined with the vocal purr of Danica Torchin,” Steinberg said. “I am very excited to try the signature cocktail that the mixologists at Echo & Rig are calling ‘The Starry-tini.’ ”
Kim Amato, founder and executive director for Baby’s Bounty, said the event is timed to coincide with National Child Safety Month. “With our Starry, Starry Night evening, we intend to raise awareness about the health, safety and well-being of our newest residents born into impoverished families. We can come together as a community to give every baby a good start,” Amato said.
Baby’s Bounty provides babies in need with cribs, car seats, clothing and other essential items to ensure that they thrive. Each month 50 to 75 newborns receive these items when requests for assistance are submitted by social service providers throughout the community.
