Reno Subdivision Named Best in U.S.
Tenaya Creek, a 110-home subdivision located in Reno’s north valley, was recently named Best New Manufactured Home Subdivision in the U.S. by the Manufactured Housing Institute. Tenaya/S&S LLC developed the project to provide affordable housing to the Northern Nevada market. The developers partnered with Guerdon Enterprises, a design company based in Boise, to provide elements to make Tenaya Creek look as much like a site-built subdivision as possible. Amenities include full-perimeter permanent foundations, architectural shingles, front porches, concrete walkways and steps and front yard landscaping for each home. Lots at Tenaya Creek range from 4,200 to 10,000 square feet and the floor plans range from 960 to 1,547 square feet. Original prices started at less than $100,000. The subdivision was sold out in less than 20 months.
