Ted Heiman joins Keneisys to fill the role of Vice President of Sales.

Most recently, Ted was Founder and Vice President of Sales for IQ Designs, LLC, the largest home automation and security company on the Big Island in Hawaii.

Prior to IQ Designs, Ted was Vice President of Sales for Enova Technology Corp., an encryption security company, where he established and successfully launched the company's US Division. "The experience I gained at Enova Tech will prove invaluable in my role here at Keneisys," Heiman says, "the responsibility of running the entire North American division included all sales, marketing and operations functions, in addition to initiating the new product launch strategy."

As Western Regional Sales Director for ActivCard Inc., Ted managed Fortune 100 accounts including Sun, AOL/Netscape, Chevron, Citicorp, VISA and HP where he doubled his sales revenue from $4 million to $8 million in a single year. He was instrumental in successfully negotiating, and closing, the largest Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)/Smart card deployment in the world - 13 million deployed to the Department of the Defense to date.

"The Department of Defense deployment is impressive," states Zerrenner, "but what really impressed me about Ted's tenure at ActivCard was his ability to double his sales revenue from $4 million to $8 million in a single year."

Ted's responsibilities will include development and implementation of strategic sales opportunities; increasing market share, sales revenue, and customer base across targeted market segments. This will encompass the OEM channel, where Ted will focus on developing strategic relationships with software development companies whose applications serve the financial, healthcare, legal and educational verticals. In addition to Sales and Channel Development, Ted will work closely with the Product Management team on the strategic development of future products.

Ted holds a BS in Electronics Engineering from California State University, Long Beach and an AS in Electronics Technology from Los Angeles Pierce College.
