Release Date: November 21, 2006

Bank to offer a wider array of commercial mortgages

Reno, NV - Heritage Bank of Nevada today announced it has expanded its commercial real estate lending activities and is now offering a full spectrum of commercial financing options which are being made available through secondary market financial institutions.

The Bank has contracted with Wholesale Lenders Resources, Inc. to manage the marketing and processing of commercial mortgages that are placed with financial institutions offering loan programs outside the parameters of the bank’s typical loan portfolio products.

"We continue to seek innovative ways to expand our product offering to individuals and businesses that own, or want to own, commercial real estate in northern Nevada," said Stan Wilmoth, President and CEO of Heritage Bank. "We are now better able to support the continued growth of our local business community. We are also adding full-time employees to service the increasing demand for these loans."

"The evolution of the commercial mortgage market is similar to that of the residential mortgage market years ago," said Mark Stebbins, president of Wholesale Lenders Resources. "Financial institutions have developed many ways to offer commercial mortgages outside the scope of a traditional bank portfolio loan."

Heritage Bank of Nevada, headquartered in Reno, has assets of $272.4 million as of September 30, 2006, and is one of the top performing Banks in Nevada and in the U.S. The bank is owned by over 350 families primarily located in northern Nevada.
