Contact: Dennis Wigent

(Reno, NV) The U.S. Patent Office has allowed new claims for PINDI'S innovative imaging technology, Pin-SCAN™. The new patent is expected to be issued shortly. Pin-SCAN™ is a revolutionary new technology on the scope of X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound. It is expected to have broad applications in both the medical and security industries.

"We are pleased that the Patent Office has allowed a new round of patent claims and will be issuing Pindi our second patent," said Pindi CEO and Chief Technology Officer, Erin Looney. "The issuance of this patent will increase Pindi's shareholder value, and I'm looking forward to many more that we're preparing to file."

In the medical field, Pin-SCAN™’s non-invasive blood analysis can improve glucose monitoring for over 20 million US diabetics. There is no need to draw blood, and the results are computed in ½ second, a significant improvement over today's invasive testing devices. PIN-scan™ can also provide fast and painless identification of a wide range of other blood chemistries. Because Pin-SCAN™ is quick and easy to use, tests can be done in the doctor's office or even a patient's home, resulting in lower costs, earlier detection of illnesses, and better monitoring of health conditions.

There are a number of security uses, including biometric identification and identity protection. Non-invasive Pin-SCAN™ technology does not suffer from any of the fatal flaws of other biometric technologies.

"Pin-SCAN™ really has an unimagined number of potential applications, including instant identification of liquids, water purity testing, and safety and consistency assurance for agriculture and manufacturing," said Scott Armstrong, Pindi's Chairman. "It's just the tip of the iceberg."
