-Ad2 Reno donates advertising campaign to Court Appointed Special Advocates-

Reno, Nevada (May 25, 2007) = Ad2 Reno, a local advertising club, donated a full-service advertising campaign to the Washoe County, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

The advertising campaign, titled Push Play, included advertising, marketing, and public relations efforts. Through television, print, interactive media, special events, and business partnerships, Ad2 Reno set out to increase Washoe County CASA's community partnerships for bilingual volunteers, financial support, and brand awareness. The committee raised approximately $50,000 in media advertisement space, print/collateral materials, and promotion materials.

Each year, Ad 2 chapters across the nation compete in a Public Service Advertising Competition. Participating clubs submit a written report of their campaign, followed by an oral presentation at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) National Conference. A select panel of judges evaluates the campaigns and selects the best among the year's work. Ad2 Reno's Push Play campaign was compiled into presentation format and sent to the AAF National Headquarters on April 4, 2007. The group will then present the Push Play campaign in Louisville, Kentucky on June 6, 2007. The winning Ad 2 chapter receives a monetary award and the opportunity to present their campaign to all attendees at the AAF National Conference.

Ad2 Reno will choose another northern Nevada non-profit organization this summer. The advertising campaign may potentially include; billboards, radio and television commercials, print advertising, collateral, web design, logo design, and public relations initiatives. Advertising professionals will then donate their time to create the campaign, from concept to finish. Each year, the Ad2 Reno Public Service Campaign committee reviews several applications submitted by local non-profit organizations. The committee bases their selection on the special needs of each organization. Non-profits must turn in their applications to Ad2 Reno by Monday June 25, 2007 for consideration. For more information about Ad2 Reno's Public Service Campaign, please contact Ad2 Reno's Public Service Chair Melissa Molyneaux at 775-823-4674 or email MMolyneaux@colliersreno.com.
