Jones Vargas Associate Passes Nevada Bar Exam

Reno, Nevada (May 22, 2007) - The law firm of Jones Vargas is pleased to announce that Associate Linda McKenzie has passed the Nevada Bar Exam. Ms. McKenzie is admitted to practice law in Arizona and Nevada and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Nevada Bar Association and the Arizona Bar Association. Ms. McKenzie joined the law firm in 2006 and is a member of the Jones Vargas Litigation Practice Group. Ms. McKenzie holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, and a Masters in Laws in Health Law from the University of Houston Law Center.

Ms. McKenzie has done extensive scholarly research and writing on the federal statutory regulation of health care. In 2006, Ms. McKenzie was awarded the Florida Bar's William Trickel, Jr. Memorial Writing Award and the Robert S. Toth LL.M. Writing Award. Ms. McKenzie's article on the effect of ERISA on managed care will appear in Volume 23 of "The Journal of Contemporary Health Law and Policy." Her article on congressionally mandated informed consent for medical procedures will appear in Volume 20 of "The Journal of Law and Health."
