Nevada State Bank Names Dallas E. Huan as President and CEO- William E. Martin to Continue as Chairman

LAS VEGAS; July 23, 2007 - Nevada State Bank, a subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation (NASDAQ: ZION) announced today that Dallas E. Haun has been named president and chief executive officer of Nevada State Bank, and executive vice president of Zions Bancorporation, effective September 3, 2007. William E. Martin, who has served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Nevada State Bank since October 1999, will continue to serve as non-executive chairman of the bank's board of directors.
Mr. Haun has most recently served as executive vice president for California Commercial and Private Banking Services at City National Bank in Los Angeles, where he has been a member of the bank's executive committee. He previously was president of Harbor Bank in Long Beach, California until that bank's sale to City National in 1998. Mr. Haun graduated from Michigan State University in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in finance and received his postgraduate degree in 1982 from the University of Washington's Pacific Coast Banking School. He also completed the Executive Program at the Anderson School of Business at UCLA.
