The attorney's of Jones Stevenson, LLC are pleased to participate with the Clark County Bar and the Lorman Education Services to present two different Continuing Legal Education Seminars on immigration in the upcoming months. On Friday, November 21, 2008, the Clark County Bar will sponsor the CLE seminar: "Introduction to Employment Based Immigration Practice". The attorney's of Jones Stevenson, along with invited speakers, will present information on how small businesses and corporations may employ and retain foreign nationals through varying immigration procedures. Subsequently on Wednesday, February 18, 2009, Jones Stevenson will participate in a CLE seminar on behalf of the Lorman Education Services, titled: "Immigration Law and Employer Compliance: A New Era for Employer Liability". In this seminar, Jones Stevenson, along with invited speakers, will present detailed information on I-9 Compliance in regards to hiring, firing, file retention and employer liability in light of Department of Labor and United States Citizenship and Immigration Service regulations.
