"Right now in the Southwest there are important advances being made in the areas of wind and solar power, and electric transmission," says Fran Lowell, NRG Principal for the Las Vegas office. "As we continue to serve our natural gas, oil, and biofuels clients, we are also excited about working on renewable energy development projects in this region."
NRG has become known nationwide for its staff expertise, particularly in the areas of public outreach, pipeline routing, environmental permitting, and construction compliance and inspection. In addition to the geographical expansion, NRG has added more than 60 consultants in the last two years to their growing team of experts.
"Energy projects in the southwest have generated employment opportunities as well," says Lynda Whittemore, Director of Recruiting for NRG.
