Capriotti's Sandwich Shop Expands in Nevada

Las Vegas - April 14, 2008 --Gatski Commercial Real Estate Services is representing Capriotti's Sandwich Shop in selecting sites for expansion.

While Las Vegas is now the sandwich shop's largest single market, Capriotti's has 50 total stores in eight states throughout the country, according to Rob Lujan, vice president, leasing and brokerage for Gatski Commercial.

Lujan, who is the exclusive agent for Capriotti's in Las Vegas, said there are now 20 Capriotti's locations in Southern Nevada.

"Capriotti's has had huge success in this market due to having what consumers consider to be the best sandwich," Lujan said. "The plan is to open five to 10 more stores in the Las Vegas area in the next year and they also have plans to expand into other major markets across the nation within the next several years."

Lujan said the sandwich shop seeks all types of sites, but primarily those in neighborhood retail centers or anchored retail centers from 1,000 to 1,500 square feet with great visibility and high traffic.

Capriotti's will open its first Reno, Nevada location and a San Diego, California location this year as well.
