How do you retain your best and brightest employees?

Create a work culture that rewards hard work, pay people competitively and share the credit. Don’t be afraid to have fun with each other.

Who inspired you to get into the business?

I have had the good fortune to have experienced many mentors over the years that have given me great advice and taught me the right way to conduct business.

What is the most important thing you learned from your parents?

Do the right thing even if no one is watching.

What is a common misconception about public relations?

That it is easy to do and is vastly underrated in terms of affecting consumer behavior.

My wife Carolyn’s maiden name is Ferrari.
