Phase I Development Begins at Lincoln Estates
Lincoln Estates, a 1,000-acre development, announced the residential real estate project began Phase I of development. The initial phase includes the sale of 1.2-acre lots along Holiday Lane, which runs east to west through the center of the development site, located six miles west of Rachael and 150 miles north of Las Vegas. The lots are priced at $16,500 each and are construction ready
Phase I of The Park at Northpointe Completed
SR Construction announced the completion of Phase I of The Park at Northpointe, located at 4070 Martin Luther King Blvd. in Las Vegas. The park is a master-planned office park totaling 99,600 square feet and is comprised of 18 single-story wood-frame buildings ranging in size from 4,200 square feet to 7,200 square feet. Phase I consisted of 10 buildings totaling 54,000 square feet. Glen, Smith and Glen is the developer and Perkowitz & Ruth is the architect for the project.
Somersett Town Square Built With Green Concept
The Somersett Town Square, with more than 35,000 square feet of retail space, located in the master-planned golf community of Somersett, is in the final stages of construction. The retail center is one of the first commercial buildings registered under the LEED core-and-shell program in Northern Nevada. A LEED-certified building is constructed to be more water- and energy-efficient, and the building process requires significant recycling of materials at the site.
The Springs Preserve Completed and Open to Public
The Springs Preserve, a $250 million non-gaming cultural attraction located a few miles off the Las Vegas Strip recently opened with 180 acres of museums, botanical gardens, galleries, trails and entertainment venues. The Preserve will fill a niche in Las Vegas as a new hub for locals, as well as tourists. Community leaders have spent nearly a decade developing the facility that was once the site of the first water in the Valley and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
Nevada State College Breaks Ground
CORE construction announced it has been contracted to build Nevada State College’s first permanent facility located at 1021 E. Paradise Hills Dr. in Henderson. CORE will conduct and oversee construction for the 42,000-square-foot, two-story building that includes laboratories and classrooms.
Vista South Tower Park Completed
The Korte Company completed work on the Vista South Tower Park which marks the southern entrance to the Vistas, a European-inspired village in the master-planned community of Summerlin. Anchored by a 48-foot clock tower, the seven-acre park features children’s play areas, picnic areas, two ball fields, two basketball courts and two tennis courts. Summerlin is a Howard Hughes Corporation development located along the western rim of the Las Vegas Valley.
