How do you retain your best and brightest employees?

Who inspired you to get into the business?

My father and mother.

What is the most important thing you learned from your parents?

I learned to work hard, ask questions and have fun.

Little known fact about yourself?

I worked at Yankee stadium, I played in three rock bands and I’m known as the record maven.

What do you like most and least about your industry?

I like most the complexities of the job. It’s difficult to explain what I like least.

If you had the chance to be in a different line of work, what would that be?

I would teach.

What three values do you hope to pass on to your employees?

Integrity, respect for others and stewardship.

I enjoy most every minute.

What is your favorite college memory?

One of my professors, Dr. Sharav, made accounting fun, which is difficult to do.

What is your favorite book and why?

The Bible, it provides solace, guidance and inspiration.

Who is a surprising source of wisdom in your life?

My children.
