Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority approves reduced budget
Las Vegas' tourism boosters on Thursday approved a $231 million budget for the 2010 fiscal year, one that's 17.3 percent lower than the budget presented this time last year. Nearly 80 percent of the authority budget comes from room taxes in Southern Nevada.
