Property taxes are always a hot button issue, regardless of whether it's an up or down market. With the first wave of new property value notices from the Washoe County Assessor's office set to hit taxpayer's mailboxes this week, now is a good time to learn about the notices and how they might impact you. We talk to Washoe County Assessor Josh Wilson about the value notices, and offer steps property owners can take if they wish to appeal their property values.
