Fees start today for taking Nevada driving test
Several changes take effect today at the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. The changes, mandated by the Legislature, include a new fee to take a driver's test, fewer required tests for new residents and more emissions inspections for diesel vehicles. The department also will take responsibility from the Consumer Affairs Division for investigating complaints against auto repair garages.
