Reno’s oldest local butcher shop offers packs of naturally raised, GMO and hormone-free meats in time for Memorial Day
RENO – Following the opening of its new smokehouse, Butcher Boy Meat Market of Reno, Nevada, announced the return of its summer barbecue grill pack.
Butcher Boy’s owner and master butcher, Ken Jolly, said he hand-picked the variety of meats in preparation for Memorial Day, the biggest barbecue day of the grilling season.
“Our grill packs are the perfect way to get summer started,” Jolly said. “These steaks, chops and sausages taste amazing grilled to perfection and shared with family and friends.”
The grill pack includes two choice New York steaks, four jalapeno cheddar sausages, two lemon pepper marinated chicken breasts, two bacon burgers, one marinated tri-tip, one rack of St. Louis style spare ribs and two beef kebabs. At a price point of $99, Jolly said Butcher Boy’s grill pack is a great value for any home cook and grill master.
Jolly said all Butcher Boy products are naturally raised on a GMO-free diet with no antibiotics or added hormones. Beef comes from purebred Angus cattle, pork is certified Berkshire pork and poultry are free range. Lamb cuts are locally supplied by the Borda Family Ranch in Northern Nevada.
