Nevada Association Services Inc., which collects overdue homeowner association assessments through nonjudicial foreclosure, recently merged with Hampton & Hampton Collections LLC.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
Nevada Association Services CEO Joel Just said the merged company will have 27 employees, which will let it operate more efficiently in the state.
The combined company will work from Nevada Association Services’ offices at 6224 W. Desert Inn Road in Las Vegas and Hampton and Hampton’s Henderson offices at 880 Seven Hills Drive, Suite. 200.
Hampton & Hampton Collections LLC had collected overdue assessments for community associations since 2012. Hampton & Hampton Owner Jay Hampton will become a board member of the merged company. Hampton & Hampton President Cameron Clark left the company June 1.
Just said the deal had been discussed for more than a year and was accelerated by a state of bank-initiated lawsuits against homeowners associations. He said the deal was necessary to serve Nevada’s HOA customer base.
Nevada Association Services, which has served Nevada for 17 years, acquired ATC Assessment Collection Group earlier this month for an undisclosed price. The company will continue looking to expand, Just said.
“We will continue to look for acquisitions, mergers and asset sales of quality companies in Nevada and other states,” Just said.
