Charitable event raises funds to help children and at-risk teens; Winners receive west coast foodie excursion in private plane
LAS VEGAS – “The Dream Flight,” a charitable fundraiser created by local influencers including Raw Fitness, Cirrus Aviation and The Refined Agency, launches May 14, and will offer a chance for lucky winners to win a west coast foodie flight on a private jet this summer.
The magical evening is hosted by Brett Raymer, star of Animal Planet’s TANKED, and Jessica Moore, NBC News 3 Anchor and will feature live performances by local entertainer, Rustyn Vaughn Lee and DJ Turbulence. Celebrity chefs with pop-up restaurants include:
- Chef Sheridan Su of Flock and Fowl
- Chef Sean Collins of RM Seafood
- Chef Justin Hall of SloBoy
- Chef Javier Anaya of Pinches Tacos
- Chef Carlos Buscaglia of Due Forni
- Chef Geno Bernardo of Herringbone
Additional Dream Flight alcohol and food sponsors include: Dom Perignon, Maker’s Mark, Maker’s 64, Woody Creek Distillery, Dessert Donut Mania, Cupcakes by Kate & Popped LV, Fruits & Roots and 50Bleu vodka and Casa Amigos Tequila. Created by Vegas influencers, The Refined Agency, Raw Fitness, Cirrus Aviation, MassMedia and Ava Rose Agency; the Dream Flight event is sponsored by both Findlay Honda, and Findlay Cadillac.
Proceeds from the fundraising event will benefit Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth’s 4969 Retrofit Project and a donation of funding will also be given to Miracle Flights, the nation’s leading non-profit health and welfare flight organization.
“Miracle Flights is honored to be one of the beneficiaries of this unique Dream Flight event,” said Mark Brown, CEO of Miracle Flights. “We are grateful to the generosity of Cirrus Aviation, and all the sponsors and participants to help us accomplish our goal of celebrating our upcoming 100,000 flight. Community charity events, like this, help us create awareness and provide financial assistance to children, for commercial air travel around the world, so they can obtain the specialized medical care they need.”
Each purchased ticket will enter that guest into a drawing to win a seat on “The Dream Flight.” The Dream Flight will be a culinary tour in June and will take place on a private plane donated by Cirrus Aviation. The flight departs from Vegas, making a pit-stop in San Francisco, and Seattle before returning to Las Vegas.
“We’re so appreciative to be the beneficiary of Dream Flight and of all the partners who have come together to make this innovative event come to life,” said Arash Ghafoori, executive director of Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. “Importantly, proceeds will help us expand services for transition age youth and create an outreach deployment and crisis intake center next to our existing Drop-In Center. Sadly youth homelessness is a major crisis in Nevada – and particularly in Las Vegas – and this vulnerable population keeps growing. Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth must grow too to meet their need for food, clothing, shelter, and programs allowing them to overcome homelessness and become self-sufficient young adults.”
