RENO – “The Brief,” a series of free podcasts offering legal commentary helpful to business owners and managers as well as consumers, has been launched by Holland & Hart.
The series will include 16 episodes as well as 10 bonus episodes that focus on marketing strategy. The first episodes include a highly practical discussion of employment law featuring Dora Lane and Fritz Battcher, Holland & Hart partners in the firm’s Reno office.
“In the midst of startups and small-businesses we want to make sure entrepreneurs and professionals have the knowledge they need to succeed,” said Jim Newman, administrative partner at Holland & Hart’s Reno office. “The opportunity to listen to real time issues with Holland & Hart attorneys at no cost is one way we can help build and further along forward-thinking ideas and individuals.”
Among the questions they discuss are several that routinely concern employers. Among them: “Is it necessary to provide a reason for the termination of an employee?” Early episodes also have included a deep look at the use of social media as a marketing tool, particularly for lawyers and other business professionals.
