RENO – The Reno/Sparks Association of REALTORS (RSAR) has officially opened submissions for its third annual “REALTORS Build A Better Block” project. RSAR is looking for projects designed to transform a current public space into a place for the community to gather offering a positive cultural or economic impact in the community. The project selected will receive funding and assistance to plan, organize and implement the project to make the neighborhood a better place to live, work and play.
Nominations are sought from the public and may include park or library improvement projects, creation of a neighborhood or rooftop garden, or even graffiti clean-up projects that would make the area a better place and improve a neighborhood. In order to be considered, the project must take place in Washoe County or Fernley, and must have a 501c3 partner as part of it.
Nominations for the “REALTORS Build A Better Block” project can be made at www.rsar.realtor though Friday, May 13. RSAR will then select the top projects and conduct a public vote to determine which community project they will adopt.
