In order to help meet the ongoing need for access to health services in the Las Vegas community, Southwest Medical has added five new healthcare providers, who join over 330 local providers in 22 medical health care centers across Southern Nevada.
Dr. Nnamdi Otuwa joins Southwest Medical’s Rancho/Charleston Health Center (2450 W. Charleston Blvd.) and specializes in anesthesiology. Otuwa completed his medical training at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska and completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and affiliated hospitals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Loyola University Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.
Amy Pfeiffer, NP joins Southwest Medical and works in the Care Plus division. Pfeiffer completed her medical training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas College of Nursing.
Dr. Julie Lynn Swanson joins Southwest Medical’s Nellis Health Center (540 N. Nellis Blvd.) and specializes in adult medicine. Swanson completed her medical training at the University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois and completed her residency at University of California, Davis and affiliated hospitals in Sacramento, California.
Monique Turner, NP joins Southwest Medical’s Nellis Health Center (540 N. Nellis Blvd.) and specializes in adult medicine. Turner completed her medical training at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Sherry Cobb, APRN joins Southwest Medical and specializes in inpatient/skilled nursing care. Cobb completed her medical training at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.
