LAS VEGAS – Christopher McGarey, a longtime board member and leader of the Commercial Alliance Las Vegas (CALV), has earned a commercial real estate industry award from the National Association of REALTORS (NAR).
McGarey received a 2015 National Commercial Award from NAR, which announced the honor at its recent annual meetings. He was the lone honoree from Nevada and one of more than 50 other commercial real estate professionals from around the country to earn this annual award from NAR recognizing excellence in the industry.
McGarey serves as a director on CALV’s board for 2015. He holds the professional designations of CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and CPM (Certified Property Manager). He works for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services – Nevada Properties in Las Vegas, where he leads the firm’s top commercial real estate team and handles commercial and residential investment property management and leasing. He also served as the 2015 president of the Las Vegas chapter of IREM, the Institute of Real Estate Management.
A graduate of the University of Arizona, McGarey is a longtime resident of Las Vegas with more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry.
