Southwest Medical has added new providers to help meet the growing need for health services in the Las Vegas community:
Dr. Suchada Chaiwechakarn joins Southwest Medical’s Flamingo Health Center (5580 W. Flamingo Road) and specializes in obstetrics/gynecology. Chaiwechakarn completed her medical training at Prince of Songkla University in Songkhla, Thailand and completed her residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, New York.
Dr. Christina Henry joins Southwest Medical’s Eastern Health Center (4475 S. Eastern Ave.) and specializes in adult medicine. Henry completed her medical training at Touro University in Henderson, Nevada and completed her residency at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida.
Dr. Ronny Jiji joins Southwest Medical’s Eastern Health Center (4475 S. Eastern Ave.) and specializes in cardiology. Jiji completed her medical training at the Medical School for International Health, Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva, Israel in collaboration with Columbia University in New York, New York and completed her residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Jae Wook Kwon joins Southwest Medical’s Charleston/Rancho Health Center (888 S. Rancho Dr.) and specializes in urgent care. Kwon completed her medical training at Touro University in Henderson, Nevada and completed her residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon and Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Bibi Wasila Omar joins Southwest Medical’s Tenaya Health Center (2704 N. Tenaya Way) and specializes in urgent care. Omar completed her medical training at St. Matthew’s School of Medicine in West Bay, Cayman Islands and completed her residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and affiliated hospitals in Springfield, Illinois.
Dr. Nnamdi Otuwa joins Southwest Medical’s Rancho/Charleston Health Center (2450 W. Charleston Blvd.) and specializes in anesthesiology. Otuwa completed his medical training at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska and completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and affiliated hospitals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Loyola University Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.
Amy Pfeiffer, NP joins Southwest Medical and works in the Care Plus division. Pfeiffer completed her medical training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas College of Nursing.
Dr. Julie Lynn Swanson joins Southwest Medical’s Nellis Health Center (540 N. Nellis Blvd.) and specializes in adult medicine. Swanson completed her medical training at the University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois and completed her residency at University of California, Davis and affiliated hospitals in Sacramento, California.
Monique Turner, NP joins Southwest Medical’s Nellis Health Center (540 N. Nellis Blvd.) and specializes in adult medicine. Turner completed her medical training at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Sherry Cobb, APRN joins Southwest Medical and specializes in inpatient/skilled nursing care. Cobb completed her medical training at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.
