LAS VEGAS – Golden Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:GDEN), headquartered in Las Vegas, announced the restructuring of its executive management team as a result of the recent merger between Golden Gaming and Lakes Entertainment.
Blake L. Sartini will serve as chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of Golden Entertainment, Inc. Prior to the closing of the merger, Mr. Sartini served as the president and chief executive officer of Sartini Gaming from its formation in January 2012, and was the founder and chief executive officer of Golden Gaming, LLC, which he founded in 2001. Mr. Sartini is a member of the UNLV Foundation’s Board of Trustees, is a contributor to the Public Education Foundation and served as chairman of the Bishop Gorman High School fundraising committee, which raised more than $50 million toward the construction of the private school’s new Las Vegas campus.
Matthew Flandermeyer will serve as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Golden Entertainment, Inc. From October 2007 until the closing of the merger, Mr. Flandermeyer served as the chief financial officer for Golden Gaming. In 2013, he was also appointed as Golden Gaming’s vice president of strategic development. Prior to joining Golden Gaming, Flandermeyer served as the chief financial officer for Global Restaurant Systems.
Stephen A. Arcana has been appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer of Golden Entertainment, Inc. From August 2003 until the closing of the merger, he served as the chief operating officer for Golden Gaming. Prior to 2003, Mr. Arcana held several executive positions with Station Casinos, LLC, in addition to a variety of hotel operations and food and beverage positions with the Sands Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Blake L. Sartini II has been named senior vice president of restricted gaming for Golden Entertainment, Inc. Prior to the merger, Sartini was vice president of operations for Golden Route Operations. His new position adds the responsibility of overseeing the company’s 48 taverns in Nevada, in addition to the distributed gaming operation. Sartini joined Golden Gaming in January of 2010 and served as executive marketing manager for Golden Casino Group.
Jeremy Jenson will serve as vice president and general manager of the Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Casino, Gold Town Casino and Lakeside Casino & RV Park, all in Pahrump, Nevada. Previously, Jenson served as general manager and pit boss for the Pahrump Nugget, a Golden Gaming casino operation in Pahrump.
Skylar Dice has been promoted to vice president and general manager of Rocky Gap Casino, located near Cumberland, Maryland. He is responsible for the overall operations of the resort and ensuring the continued employment of its more than 450 local team members. Skylar has more than 20 years of gaming experience and previously served as the director of gaming operations with Rocky Gap since Feb. 2013.
