RENO – Nevada State Bank has named Becky Petring retail market sales manager. Petring will support the Northern Nevada region manager and branch teams in implementing processes and practices that enhance customer service and company growth.
Petring joined Nevada State Bank in 2011 and brings more than 32 years of banking experience to her new role. Most recently, she served as the branch manager of the bank’s Sparks branch.
“Becky has a strong passion and ability for coaching and mentoring, which has produced tremendous results,” said Debby Herman, senior vice president and northern Nevada region manager for Nevada State Bank. “Her drive, collaboration and focus on colleague development will be critical to the retail team’s continued success.”
Petring earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration – marketing with a minor in management from California State University, Fullerton. She is a member of Business Network International and has served as vice president of We the People Toastmasters Club. As a strong supporter of the community, Petring leads the bank’s financial literacy program in Northern Nevada. She also supports Food Bank of Northern Nevada, Junior Achievement and Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation.
