LAS VEGAS – Nevada State Bank has promoted Micah Phillips to marketing director. Phillips will oversee all marketing communications such as advertising, merchandising, community relations and events, in addition to continuing to direct the bank’s product team.
Nevada State Bank President and COO Terry Shirey said the promotion will create a strong functional alignment between marketing, communications, products and revenue.
Phillips has more than 18 years of experience in the financial industry and earned a master’s of business administration degree from the University of Utah and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Phoenix. Currently enrolled in the Pacific Coast Banking School, Phillips started his career with Zions Bancorporation as a compliance officer and has a diverse background in banking. He is a graduate of the Leadership Henderson Program and sits on the board of directors of the Henderson Chamber Community Foundation.
