ELKO – Nevada State Bank presented a $300,000 Affordable Housing Program grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco to Community Development, Inc., for its 40-unit rental project, Winchester Court, under construction in Elko.
Winchester Court will serve residents earning from 40 to 50 percent of area median income with a portion of units reserved for households with members with special needs. Residents will have access to workforce development classes and other empowerment services.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco distributes its Affordable Housing Program funding through its member financial institutions, including Nevada State Bank, which work with for-profit and nonprofit organizations in their communities to address local affordable housing needs.
