Stephanie Kruse, founder and president of KPS3 Marketing, was named a finalist in the Professional Services category for the 17th Annual Women of Distinction Awards presented by National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Southern Nevada.
The Women of Distinction Awards honor women in all fields and industries who inspire success and have shown great dedication and excellence in their field. Based on a set of criteria, finalists were nominated by their peers and colleagues. The 10 award categories highlight all industries ranging from arts/entertainment/media to education and gaming/hospitality to professional services. Specialty categories also include Rising Star, Glass Ceiling and Entrepreneur of the Year.
Award winners were announced during a luncheon at the Paris Las Vegas Conference Center on Thursday, May 14. The luncheon featured the nominated women in all categories in addition to entertainment and keynote speaker Alejandra Castillo, MBDA National Director, US Department of Commerce.
Founded by Kruse in 1991 in Reno, Nev., KPS3 Marketing is a full-service marketing and digital communications firm providing integrated marketing communication solutions for its clients. KPS3 assists clients in spaces ranging from healthcare to tech, and provides everything from market research and brand analysis to website design and development.
Kruse serves as the lead strategist and planner for all of KPS3’s clients. She received her MBA in marketing and organizational strategy and her BA in journalism/theater, and is a retired registered nurse. She brings more than 30 years of integrated communications management experience to her clients.
Under her direction, KPS3 has won more than 100 American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards. Kruse has also been named: “Communicator of the Year” by the northern Nevada chapter of the International Business Communicators; “Ad Woman of the Year” by Reno Women in Advertising; “Marketer of the Year” by the northern Nevada chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA); and “Ad Person of the Year” by the Reno Advertising Club, among numerous other recognitions.
