Scott Donaghe to lead tenant representation services in market
Las Vegas, NV – Avison Young, the world’s fastest-growing commercial real estate services firm, announced it has expanded its Las Vegas, NV presence by appointing Scott Donaghe to the firm’s Las Vegas office. Donaghe is part of a 12-person tenant representation team led by Principal Ted Simpson based in Southern California.
“Scott has been an integral part of growing Avison Young’s tenant rep services over the past two years,” comments Simpson. “Our team has been successful in establishing strong relationships with major companies that are expanding in Las Vegas. With this strategic move, he will be able to better serve our clients’ needs in a high-growth market.”
Donaghe joined Avison Young in 2013 as part of a seven-member team coming from Cushman & Wakefield’s Downtown Los Angeles office led by Simpson. Working exclusively with corporate occupiers, Donaghe represents major companies including Pinnacle Entertainment, PSI Services and Affinity Gaming, among others. He has completed more than 200,000 square feet of leases on behalf of his clients over the past 24 months.
“We are extremely pleased to have Scott Donaghe join our growing operation in Las Vegas. Scott is a highly respected professional, and he is certain to become an industry leader in the market. His comprehensive commercial real estate experience, in-depth industry knowledge and long-standing client relationships are perfectly aligned with our commitment to provide best-in-class services to our valued clients, and another important step in the execution of our company’s aggressive growth plan,” comments Joseph E. Kupiec, Principal and Managing Director of the Avison Young Las Vegas office.
“Avison Young identified a demand in the Las Vegas market for a more sophisticated level of tenant rep services,” says Donaghe. “Our consultative approach, emphasis on best-in-class customer service, and qualitative and quantitative property analysis are just some advantages we are able to offer our clients.”
Donaghe notes that the Las Vegas market was hit hard by the recession, however, the unemployment rate is steadily decreasing and is currently under 7%, a good indicator that recovery is in full force. “Companies are attracted to the area as it not only presents a pro-business environment, it also offers an abundant workforce and favorable tax advantages.”
