RENO, Nev. — Rob Gaedtke has been named CEO of KPS3, a marketing and technology company based in Reno, Nev. with a satellite office in Las Vegas. Stephanie Kruse, the company’s founder, will remain president and chairperson of the board.
“Rob has consistently shown exceptional leadership and vision, as well as excellent operational and financial management,” said Kruse. “He has also has grown the agency’s technical and web division into the force that it is today.”
Gaedtke will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company and its 30-person team. Kruse will continue her intense involvement with clients, including providing overall strategy in marketing and communications, imparting her philosophies and visionary thinking to benefit KPS3 and its clients. She will also continue to work to expand the company’s new client base.
Since rejoining KPS3 in 2011 as a shareholder and vice president of creative and technical services, Gaedtke has led the agency’s evolution and growth in the digital and web division, allowing KPS3 to offer intelligent and strategic web and digital services.
“Companies are removing the lines between marketing, web and information technology in an effort to capture better data and gain deeper insights into their business. They want bold marketing campaigns with robust online components that are driven by sophisticated data engines. KPS3 now combines all of these disciplines in-house,” said Gaedtke. “We have historically been known for our strategic and exceptional creative marketing talents. Now, with a full web and digital arm within the company, we have the capability of producing enterprise class web application and automation software that drives revenue for our clients. This marriage of services has set us apart from other marketing agencies and gives our clients a unique experience under one roof.”
Gaedtke joined KPS3 as a designer in 2004 before joining One To One Interactive (previously Twelve Horses) in 2007 where he served as account director leading the travel and tourism practice, One to One Travel. Gaedtke graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, where he received his bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in advertising and a minor in marketing.
The announcement comes on the heels of KPS3 reopening its Las Vegas office earlier in January of this year. Founded by Kruse in 1991 in Reno, Nev., KPS3 assists clients in industries such as health care, real estate and development, higher education and professional services. It has the capacity and experience to provide a full range of services, from market research and brand analysis and strategy, to crisis communications and community outreach, to website and mobile application design and development. The company also has decades of experience in the more traditional services of advertising, media buying and public relations for a variety of client industries.
