RENO, NV—Minor Advertising President Jimmy Minor announced the promotion of long-time employee and daughter, Jennifer O’Harra to partner and vice president of the 29-year-old advertising agency.
Beginning in January 2015, the agency will become Minor O’Harra Advertising. The fourth-generation Nevadan earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno and a Master’s Degree in Communications from Gonzaga University and has served as the firm’s Director of Media Services for the past 10 years.
“I’m thrilled that Jennifer wants to continue the legacy that our family has worked so hard to build for the past three decades. Jennifer has the skill and foresight to take our company to the next level,” said Minor. Minor along with wife Marilyn, both Native Nevadans, opened the agency together in 1986 and take a great deal of pride in the longevity that has been established over the years with their clientele.
“I’m honored and excited to continue the business that I watched my family build for the last 29 years. Along with traditional media buying, I am anxious to further develop Social and Digital media products and services for current and future clientele,” explained O’Harra.
