Las Vegas luxury resaler and pawnbroker Michael Mack, owner of Max Pawn, will open his second Las Vegas resale store, Max Luxx, at the Downtown Container Park, 707 Fremont Street.A soft opening is planned for Saturday, January 24, 2015. The 257-square-foot boutique will feature Preloved authentic designer handbags, wallets, belts, sunglasses and accessories. “We are excited to bring authentic, pre-loved luxury products to the Downtown Container Park, which expects to see two million visitors and shoppers this year,” Mack said. “I’m a big fan of Tony Hsieh and him bringing Zappos downtown and all the cool things he is doing with the Downtown Project. Also, Valentine’s Day presents a huge buying and selling opportunity for lovers of luxury products, so opening a store for authentic pre-loved luxury merchandise downtown is a dream and sure to be a knockout.” Mack has hired and teamed up with Mildred Schneidman, who recently joined Max Pawn, as store manager for Max Luxx. Schneidman’s career has been focused on the Las Vegas Strip, being involved with VIP concierge at The Bellagio, Wynn and most recently at the Cosmopolitan. Max Luxx will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m
