8-Ball Bail Bonds Executive Expects Big Business on New Year’s Eve

Many drive while intoxicated on New Year's and during the holiday season. And arrests don't just happen on the Las Vegas Strip. "Many of the people we see tell us they were just blocks from home when they were pulled over," said Gorlick. According to Nevada's  Zero Fatalities program, the holidays are an especially deadly time on the state's roadways. Nationally, someone dies every 51 minutes in a drunk-driving crash. Zero Fatalities reports that the cost of a DUI is at least $10,000 when attorney's fees  and associated court costs are considered, Gorlick said. The beneficiary is Mariah's House, a non profit helping victims who have been commercially exploited in the valley.
