How did you first get into your profession?
After graduating from college with a degree in accounting, I was accepted into the management training program at First Interstate Bank.
If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?
Knowing that I made a positive difference in someone’s life. Being in a leadership position has given me that opportunity – both working with my colleagues as well as having opportunities to help people in our community.
What business advice would you give someone just starting in your industry?
Find a mentor! When you are a young banking professional, the best way to become proficient in your job is to learn from the knowledge and experience of others.
What was the toughest lesson you’ve learned in your career?
Learning to embrace change and using it to energize your own productivity and the company you’re with.
