RENO, Nev. – KNPB announces the addition of Sara Anderson to its education services team. Anderson joins the PBS Member Station as educational services manager and is responsible for developing innovative educational projects, and developing partner relationships.
As a part of her duties at KNPB, Anderson works to align programming with classroom core standards, fulfill educational partner agreements, and develop content based on community needs.
Anderson is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She completed the Early Childhood Autism program and worked as an autism tutor before spending four years as an assistant director at the Brookfield School.
“I am confident that Sara’s extensive background in early childhood education will improve KNPB offerings and engage, inspire, and entertain our community’s children and teachers,” said Kurt Mische, KNPB CEO. “We are very pleased to have her as a team member and will benefit from her leadership in this area.”
KNPB Public Broadcasting is seen by 140,000 people weekly in northern Nevada and northeastern California.
