Las Vegas, NV – Silver State Schools Credit Union held its 64th annual membership meeting on April 26, 2014, at its McLeod branch. The Credit Union earned $13.6 million in 2013 and ended the year with $637 million in assets. The results of the recent nominations for election were announced, with incumbents, Directors Terry Mannion (who remains as Chairperson), and Joyce Woodhouse, being returned to the board, and continuing as board members for another three-year term. In addition, nominee Walt Rulffes, former CCSD Superintendent of Schools, was appointed to the board. He, too, will serve a three-year term.
The remaining members of the seven-member board are Mitch Fox, Vice Chair, Teresa Yeoman, Secretary/Treasurer, and Directors Leonard Petoske and George Ann Rice.
Silver State Schools Credit Union was founded in 1951, and serves the educational community in the state of Nevada with 9 locations throughout the Las Vegas valley.
